Challenges of living with In-laws
Who doesn't love their in-laws?!?!?! If you don't, you should. I do love mine. They care deeply for us and have given us a lovely place to rent with our own kitchen, baths, and laundry. The one thing you're going to have to watch out for is the stuff. If you are a minimalist, cation, this is going to take you for a ride. They love to buy and buy and buy for you....espcially the kids. Then you'll also want to watch out for throwing things away. With all their retirement and quirkiness they'll dig throught the recycling and poke around in the trash wondering what goodies you're parting with. So...don't let yourself be a horder, but just tread with care as you sever with some of the stuff. And try to help them remember even the best of our "stuff" is just wood, hay, and stubble in light of eternity.

Justice and Mercy Reconciled
My God demands justice and yet He gives mercy. It begs the question, "How can the two be reconciled?" He sent His Son to take our punishment. The punishment still came, but it was poured out on His Son. A loving parent would never be able to offer up his child to take the punishment of a child molester or a murderer. God the Father did. In doing so, He doled out the punishment but established His mercy simultaniously. History has never repeated the same reconciliation of justice and mercy. Has His mercy taught you a lesson? Introspection would reveal our need to be abundantly merciful to others.
